Step by step

How Presentation Layer 2.0 works

5 steps, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Set your layout once

Presentation is a company-wide setting, so every report you deliver looks the same. Choose between header designs, and between a linear view that stacks everything on one page and a tabbed view that groups comments by type inside each section.

  2. 2

    Choose what the summary shows

Template settings control which comment types, tags and defect levels roll into the summary, per template or per report.

  3. 3

Preview it as the client will see it

Open the preview and make your changes while looking at a real report, so there is no guessing what lands in front of a client.

  4. 4

    Send the branded share link

The client gets a digital report in your branding, and the preview card carries your logo rather than a bare URL when an agent forwards it.

  5. 5

Let them take the PDF they need

The full report or the summary, downloadable from the same place.

Worth knowing

The parts people ask about.

Preview before you commit

Every setting can be seen against a real report before you publish it, which is the difference between tuning the layout and hoping.

Your brand, not ours

Binsr stays deliberately close to invisible in the report so the inspector's brand is the one the client and the agent remember.

Compact is for the long ones

If your reports run long, compact density takes about 30 to 40% off the page count without dropping anything.

Questions

Presentation Layer 2.0, answered

Can clients get a PDF as well as the digital report?

Yes. Full report and summary PDFs, downloadable from the same place as the digital report.

Does the PDF have a usable table of contents?

Yes, with real page numbers, and a legend and summary that link straight through to each finding.

Can I brand the report?

Yes, fully. Your branding runs through the report, and the share links carry it too, so your brand follows the link as it is forwarded through the transaction.

Do reports work properly on a phone?

Yes, and it matters: most reports are read on a phone. The digital report is built to be fast and readable there.

Do I have to set this per inspection?

No. The presentation layer is set for the whole company, so every report delivers consistently. Only what goes into the summary is set per template or per report.
